Service for linking indirect investment capital account with securities trading account of foreign investors
SERVICE FOR LINKING INDIRECT INVESTMENT CAPITAL ACCOUNT WITH SECURITIES TRADING ACCOUNT OF FOREIGN INVESTORS
In order to enhance service quality and provide additional transaction conveniences for foreign investors in securities trading, our Company officially launches the service for linking the Indirect Investment Capital Account (IICA) at the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) with the securities trading account at VIX Securities Joint Stock Company (VIX).
This service enables Customers to conduct transactions quickly – securely – with automatic settlement of securities purchase and sale payments directly from their bank account (without having to go through the securities company’s omnibus clearing account).

📌 Conditions for Using the Service
To use the “Bank-Linked Account” service, Customers must satisfy the following conditions:
- Possess an Indirect Investment Capital Account (IICA) at BIDV:
Customers must complete procedures to open an IICA at BIDV. In case the Customer has already opened an IICA at another bank, the Customer must close the existing account and open a new IICA at BIDV (BIDV will provide detailed guidance on the IICA conversion procedures at the transaction counter).
- Possess a Securities Trading Account at VIX:
Customers must complete procedures to open a securities trading account directly at VIX’s transaction counter and register for the “Bank-Linked Account” service in accordance with regulations.
- Sign linkage/authorization forms at BIDV:
Customers are required to sign relevant forms for account linkage and transaction authorization among the Customer – BIDV – VIX.
Note: Required documents to be prepared by the Customer include:
+ Passport: notarized copy and original for verification;
+ Valid visa.
